BALKAN CHOIR

In this choir, everyone is welcome, including individuals with little or no singing experience and/or musical knowledge. The music repertoire of Central and Southeastern Europe serves as the central theme, featuring music from Bulgaria, Greece, Hungary, Romania, and more.

Everything is approached and built in an accessible manner, where enjoyable dance rhythms and melodies form the foundation of the vocal material. Galina Velikova is responsible for the guidance. She possesses an almost encyclopedic knowledge of music traditions from Central and Southeastern Europe, along with solid experience in coaching diverse choirs.

Galina Velikova was born in Bulgaria and has been sharing the stage with some of the most talented musicians and artists from the Balkans for over 30 years.
